News, Talk, and Sports 1380 WPHM provided continuing coverage of the November 5th, 2024 General Election. In addition to the presidential race, WPHM brought listeners live coverage of local mayor, city council, and county commission elections. Coverage started the morning of the election on the WPHM Morning Show, which included an interview with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Election coverage continued throughout the day with updated local, state, and national newscasts. Then, after the polls closed in Michigan, WPHM went live with coverage of the results. Our election night coverage was anchored by Paul Miller, with live updates from our Steve Green and Caleb Gordon, who were positioned at various locations throughout the city. After the results were all in, our Paul Miller conducted a live interview with newly elected Port Huron Mayor Anita Ashford.
