With five games left in the regular season, the Detroit Lions are alone in first place, after beating Minnesota 16-13 in the annual Thanksgiving Day game at Ford Field on Thursday. Matt Prater kicked two field goals in the final two minutes of the game to win it for Detroit, including a 40 yarder as time expired. The game winning kick was set up by the Lions Darius Slay, who intercepted a pass in Minnesota territory with 30 seconds left in the game. Detroit plays at New Orleans a week from Sunday.
