Sanilac County crash seriously injures two

Michigan State Police are investigating a car crash in Sanilac County yesterday morning that left two people seriously injured. The incident happened at the intersection of Peck and Todd roads in Buel Township around 9:30am. A 24-year-old woman from Peck was driving North on Todd and ran the stop sign at Peck road, hitting the vehicle of a 23-year-old woman from Croswell. Both drivers were taken to a local hospital where they were each admitted in critical condition.  The women each also had a younger passenger in their vehicles, who were treated and released with minor injuries. Michigan State Police were assisted on the scene by Croswell fire and EMS, Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies, and the Michigan State Police Traffic Reconstruction Team.
