Governor Gretchen Whitmer has expanded the eligibility for those who can receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Starting next Monday, residents over the age of 50 with a preexisting condition would be able to receive a shot. Then on March 22, anyone over the age of 50 would be eligible. State health leaders said those eligible to receive a vaccine should check the website of the local health department or hospital to find out their process or for registration forms; or check additional vaccination sites, such as local pharmacies like Meijer and Rite Aid.
