The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch and a lake shore flood watch for much of the day Monday. Wind gusts are expected to gust as high as 55 miles per hour out of the west in many parts of Eastern Michigan. The National Weather Service adds that the winds could bring down tree limbs and power lines. The expected high winds could also cause onshore flooding  in downriver parts of St. Clair County. Areas along Anchor Bay east through Harsens Island could see road closures and shoreline erosion as a result.
