Blue Water Area Transit will close their downtown Port Huron transportation center at midnight tonight. The agency also says all passenger trips will be demand-response only until further notice. No scheduled bus routes will be running. Passengers seeking a ride will need to call 987-7373 and then dial option 2 for dispatch. This comes after BWAT announced last week that they will be suspending all bus fares during the COVID-19 pandemic. The agency says they will be limiting the number of passengers on each bus and reminds riders to use the rear door when entering and exiting the vehicle. BWAT also reminds passengers to keep their distance between other bus passengers.
