Two ice fishermen are rescued after breaking through ice on a four wheeler. Huron County officials received an emergency 911 call Monday afternoon from one of the men who had broken through the ice on Saginaw Bay near Rose Island in Huron County’s Fairhaven Township. Both men from Nassar had been searching for a fishing spot when their ATV broke the ice. Nearly an hour later, they were recovered by airboat and treated for mild hypothermia. Authorities remind people that the ice on Lake  Huron and Saginaw Bay is uneven at this time of year and should be considered dangerous.
