Authorities in Lapeer County are investigating a Monday morning shooting that resulted in one man’s death and another man’s arrest. According to the Lapeer Police Department, a 33 year old Lapeer man was fatally shot around 7am Monday at the Clark gas station on South Main Street in Lapeer. The victim was taken to an area hospital but later died of his injuries. Police believe the incident stemmed from an argument with another man, a 34 year old also from Lapeer. The suspect was taken into custody and investigations are underway.
