Port Huron Police are reporting yet another gas station robbery, similar to other armed robberies that occurred in the area over the past month. During the early morning hours Friday, a suspect entered the Speedway gas station at Oak and 24th Streets in Port Huron. The man’s face was concealed by a mask and he was armed with a handgun. The suspect confronted an employee and demanded cash, feeling the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Police say it is very similar to four other robberies that occurred throughout the region. Those include robberies on November 28th  and December 17th at the Speedway on Electric and Ravenswood, as well as the Family Video in Port Huron on December 18th, and the Quality Inn in Port Huron Township on December 20th. Those who may know the whereabouts of the suspect are asked to contact the Port Huron Police Department or leave an anonymous tip on the CAPTURE hotline at 987-6688. Police add that the suspect’s arrest is a top priority of the Port Huron Major Crimes unit.
