
Cros-Lex beat Port Huron Northern 69-51 to win the Ed Peltz Holiday boy’s basketball tournament on Saturday. Hunter Soper and Tyler Johnson each had 18 for the Pioneers, who also got 10 points from Jake Townsend. The Huskies got a game high 24 points from freshman Tyler Jamison. In the consolation game Grosse Pointe South hit 16 three pointers and beat Port Huron 91-65. Anthony Bernard scored 27 for the Blue Devils, while Ethan Balon had 22 points for the Big Reds.
