Michigan gas prices are up about 11 cents over last week’s average, that’s according to AA-A of Michigan. The current statewide average daily gas price is $2.57 a gallon, that’s two cents more than this time last month and 22 cents more than this time last year. Across the local area, pumps in Sanilac and Macomb County are about the same as the statewide average, at $2.57 a gallon. Gas is slightly cheaper in Lapeer and St. Clair Counties, with area pumps asking about $2.55 a gallon for regular unleaded.
