Help needed to rebuild St. Clair playground

The St. Clair community is looking for help in rebuilding the Imagination Station playscape at Greig Park. Built by volunteers over 25 years ago, safety concerns for the playground prompted a community wide fundraising campaign to help replace the aging equipment. Mike Ginop is heading up the Imagination Station Rebuild committee and tells WPHM 300 to 400 volunteers working are needed this week to help finish the project. Those include skilled construction workers, painters, childcare and food service volunteers. Ginop says those interested in volunteering for the project can get more information on the Imagination Station Rebuild Facebook page and that no volunteer will be turned away. The project is being funded in part by the St. Clair County Community Foundation, City of St. Clair, and private donations. The original Imagination Station playscape was built in 1994
