Port Huron Schools announces annual award winners

Three employees of the Port Huron Area School District have been named the 2019 advocator, innovator, and educator of the year. According to to superintendent Jamie Cain, Rayna Palmer, Tracee Blake, and Judy Fiedler have received the three respective awards. Palmer is a secretary at Central Middle School and is the district’s advocator of the year. Blake is an administrator at the Port Huron Early Childhood Center and is the innovator of the year. Fiedler is a fifth grade teacher at Crull Elementary and is Port Huron’s educator of the year. Over 100 nominations from students, staff, and the general public were received this year for the three awards.
