A Croswell-Lexington school official is being investigated after reports of inappropriate conduct. Superintendent Dan Gilbertson in a letter sent to parents says Damien Pepin, the principal of the Cros-Lex Alternative Education Program, is on paid leave after complaints of inappropriate activity towards a student and a former student. Gilbertson says the district is currently conducting an internal investigation and will update the public on the results of the investigation.
