
Michigan gas prices are climbing upwards after record lows just a few weeks ago. According toAAA of Michigan, the current statewide average gas price is $2.17 a gallon. That’s about 10-cents more than last week but still 47-cents less than this same time last year. Some of the state’s lowest gas prices can be found in Metro Detroit while the highest can be found on the west side of the state. Macomb, Lapeer, and Sanilac County pumps are all asking about $2.10 a gallon and St. Clair County Pumps are asking $2.14 on average for regular unleaded.
