
Michigan’s November unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.9 percent. In the last report released before Governor Rick Snyder leaves office, it shows that nearly 560,000 private-sector jobs have been created since 2010. The Governor touts major job gains in a number of industries during his tenure including manufacturing, business services, health care and construction. The more recent trends over the past year showing job growth involve engineering services, transportation and warehousing, ambulatory health care services, construction and management of companies.
