Authorities: Don’t park on Port Huron streets during overnight

Starting tomorrow, Port Huron’s Snow Ordinance will take effect. The Port Huron Police Department is reminding residents that effective Saturday December 1st the city’s snow ordinance will be enforced. Those who park on paved city streets between the hours of 2:30a.m. and 6a.m. will be subject to a $20 fine. Warning notices will be issued for the first five days to remind residents. The snow ordinance is designed to allow city snow plow crews access to streets during the overnight hours. The Port Huron ordinance is in effect through March 31st of 2019.
