Cold temperatures to follow white Christmas

snowfall-2

It was indeed a White Christmas across the Blue Water Area and the State of Michigan. Over the past 48 hours, much of Mid-Michigan and the Thumb area, including portions of northern St. Clair County saw about four inches of the white stuff. Areas of Southern St. Clair County and Metro Detroit saw over six inches of snow. Meanwhile up north, over a foot of snow fell near Petoskey. Along with the snow, brutally cold temperatures are in the forecast today. High temperatures today not expected to exceed the single digits, and a wind chill advisory is in effect for Sanilac, Lapeer, Huron, and Tuscola Counties…. making it feel as low as negative 15.
