Strands of lights are now strung across sections of Military Street and Huron Avenue in Downtown Port Huron. Crews have been working the past several weeks to hang the lights in time for the holidays, with them being turned on for the first time this weekend. City Manager James Freed says there were a few defective LED’s at first but they have been replaced. The strands of lights will remain up year round.
