The Port Huron Northern band program has nearly doubled in size over the past decade, and the fast growth has left the marching Huskies in need of more band uniforms. Band Director Erik Senkmajor says Port Huron Northern had to buy less expensive black uniforms to accomidate the fast growth – in contrast to the school’s blue and gold colors. Therefore, the band has lunched a fundraising effort to bring new uniforms to the entire band.
