The Detroit Tigers punched their way past the New York Yankees on Thursday 10-6 at Comerica Park. Jose Iglesias had three hits and drove in four runs for the Tigers, who got home runs from Justin Upton and James McCann. The game featured three bench clearing incidents, the first of which involved a fight between Miguel Cabrera and Yankees catcher Austin Romine. In all the game saw eight ejections, including both teams managers. The Tigers open a three game series in Chicago against the White Sox on Friday night.
