Regional action for the girl’s basketball playoffs opened on Tuesday night at Yale, as Detroit Country Day improved to (22-1) on the season with a 79-31 win over Cros-Lex. Destiny Pitts lead all scorers in the game with 27 for the Yellowjackets. Rebecca Oden had ten for the Pioneers and Claire Knapp added nine. Cros-Lex finishes the season (20-4). Country Day will face Goodrich in regional final on Thursday at Yale.
