Michigan State improved to (7-4) on the college basketball season, with a 71-63 win over Tennessee Tech on Saturday. Eron Harris scored 20 and Nick Ward added 10 points and five rebounds in just 12 minutes of playing time, because of foul trouble. The Spartans are off until a week from Sunday, when they host Northeastern in East Lansing.
