The Detroit Tigers traded outfielder Cameron Maybin to the Angels on Friday for right handed pitching prospect Victor Alcantara. Maybin is coming off his first season of batting over .300 in his career, but missed almost half the season with injuries. In moving Maybin, Detroit saves $9 million in salary.
