The Tigers couldn’t get the big hit again on Thursday, and drop a 5-1 decision to the Minnesota Twins in the final game of a four game series. The Twins scored four times in the second inning off Mike Pelfrey, who was making his first start since July 31. James McCann knocked in the lone Detroit run with a double. The Tigers head to Cleveland to open a three game weekend series with the Indians on Friday.
