The Detroit Tigers blew two big leads, but out slugged the Boston Red Sox 9-8 on Tuesday night at Fenway Park. Miguel Cabrera hit a home run and knocked in two runs, while Jarrod Saltalamacchia added three hits and two RBI to pace the Tigers attack. Tyler Collins also drove in two runs for the Tigers, who go for a sweep in the three game series on Wednesday afternoon.
