Rookie Michael Fulmer held the Oakland A’s scoreless for eight innings on Friday, as the Tigers opened a six game road trip with a 4-1 win in Oakland. Nick Castellanos hit a home run for the Tigers, who face the A’s on Saturday afternoon in game two of a three game series.
