The Detroit Tigers managed just two hits on Friday night in a 5-1 loss tot he Texas Rangers. Cole Hammels tossed seven shutout innings, allowing just one hit, and striking out nine for Texas. The Tigers have lost four in a row and face the Rangers again on Saturday at Comerica Park.
