The Port Huron Fire Department now labels the blaze of a house along Military Wednesday morning as suspicious. Fire Marshal Jeffrey Tucker says the home was unoccupied at the time and, the fire is believed to have been started intentionally, as a result of a home invasion. Anyone with information about the incident, which was called in at 5:10 a.m., is asked to call the fire
State Police, at the Caro post, say they are investigating a pedestrian traffic accident that hospitalized an 18-month old boy. The accident happened late Wednesday afternoon when the toddler ran into the roadway along Sheridan Line Road in Lexington Township. He was transported to Port Huron Hospital and later flown to Children's Hospital of Detroit for treatment.

During the investigation it was determined that a car driven by 19-year old attempted to make a left hand turn onto Hessen Road, when he hit a car driven by a 26-year also from Columbus Township. The St. Clair County Drug Task Force reports on the arrest of 31-year old Clyde Township man for the possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. The bust took place Wednesday along the 76-hundred block of Bryce Road in Clyde Township as deputies were searching for the suspect, who had outstanding warrants.
The eatery is celebrating it's new look after eight weeks of remodeling both on the inside and the outside of the facility.
