Sheriff’s office investigates cell phone store armed robbery

Authorities from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office are looking for two individuals who held up a local cell phone store. It happened around 2pm Monday at the Port Huron Township Boost Mobile location in the 1300 block of 24th Street. Two suspects are believed to have entered the store posing as customers attempting to make a purchase. They are accused of ordering the store’s employee at gunpoint to stay in the store’s bathroom while they proceeded to steal approximately $10,000 worth of merchandise. The suspects are described as two black males with average build, one with shoulder length dreadlocks, the other with short hair. Anyone with information regarding the armed robbery is asked to call CAPTURE at 987-6688.
