The high school football season kicked off on Thursday night as the Richmond Blue Devils beat the Marysville Vikings 34-23 in Richmond. Zach Schorman caught two touchdown passes for the Blue Devils and had 102 yards receiving in the game. Mitch Dobbelaer, Brandon Schorman, and Noah Montanari also had Richmond touchdowns in the game. Lawrence Smafield, Ben Warren, and Hunter Fife found the end zone for the Vikings.
