Mallix Smith singled home the winning run in the bottom of the 8th inning on Friday night to lift the Seattle Marienrs to a 3-2 win over the Detroit Tigers. Brandon Dixon and John Hicks hit home runs in the loss, the 4th straight for the Tigers. The teams play game three of a four game series in the state of Washington on Saturday.
