The 95th Bell’s Beer Bayview Mackinac Race got underway on Saturday in lower Lake Huron without a glitch. A fleet of around 200 yachts all started on time and with out issue on what turned out to be hot, but good conditions for the boats. The first finishers could arrive at Mackinac Island as early as noon on Sunday, with the majority of the fleet expected late Sunday into Monday as long as weather cooperates.
