The Oakland A’s swept a four game series in Detroit and handed the Tigers their ninth straight loss on Thursday, 4-2 at Comerica Park. Nick Castellanos hit a first inning two run home run to provide the Tigers with all of their runs in the game. Detroit heads to Toronto to open a four game series with the Blue Jays on Friday night.
