The Detroit Tigers scored three runs in the ninth to tie the game, and two more in the tenth to get the win in Chicago on Thursday. Detroit ruined the White Sox home opener 9-7, as Victor Martinez picked up three hits and two RBI to pace the Tigers attack. Nico Goodrum, who entered the game after an injury to Miguel Cabrera, had two hits, including his first career home run, and drove in two runs as well for the Tigers. Game two of the series is set for Saturday afternoon in the Windy City.
