Authorities in Lapeer County have made an arrest in three home invasions in the North Branch and Brown City areas over the past week. Lapeer County Sheriff’s Deputies say the break ins occurred Friday during the daytime hours on Burnside Road. Deputies tracked footprints in the snow which lead authorities to another house on Burnside Road. The homeowner informed authorities that a male visited their house to use a phone and was tracked to a Lapeer Township residence. Deputies visited the suspect’s Lapeer Township home where they found stolen property and and took 43 year old Tony Martin into custody. He is currently being housed in the Lapeer County Jail and has numerous outstanding warrants from Oakland and Macomb Counties.
