The Port Huron Prowlers currently have one less team to face next season, after the announcement on Wednesday that the Danbury Titans had ceased operations after just two seasons. The team is withdrawing from the league due to issues with the cost of insurance in Connecticut, feeling it would be wrong to operate with inadequate or no insurance for coaches and players. The loss of Danbury leaves the FHL with six teams, however recent rumors have the league looking into the Elmira market for a possible new franchise.
