Pump prices throughout the state are set to close out the month of June lower than when the month started. The price per gallon for regular unleaded according to AAA of Michigan is 6 cents less than it was this time last week, but down 18 cents from this time last month. The auto-club group says lower fuel demand along with an increase in domestic fuel supply is to thank for the recent decrease. If the trend continues, pump prices could drop more by the end of the week. Here in the Blue Water Area, drivers can expect to pay around $3.54 cents on average, down 4 cents from last week.
