Outgoing Marysville Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Shawn K. Wightman is set to become the new Superintendent for the Roosevelt Union Free School District in New York State. According to a press release put out by the Roosevelt Union Free School District, Wightman’s residency is set to begin on July first, his scheduled final day as at Marysville Schools. The Marysville Board of Education also announced Thursday current Assistant Superintendent, Andrea Glynn will be filling Wightman’s position on an interim basis during the expected 10 to 12 week process of finding his replacement.
