The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed forward Drew Miller to a one year deal, worth just over a million dollars. Miller, 32, missed all but 28 games last season because of injury. He had one goal and one assist, but is considered to be a first rate penalty killer and role player. Free agency begins in the NHL on Friday and the Wings, with around $19 million in cap space, are expected to be active in trying to add players.
