
Thursday evening’s storms did result in a tornado touchdown in Northern St. Clair County. The National Weather Service saying an EF-0 tornado was spotted near Jeddo in Grant Township around 6:15pm Thursday. It was part of a larger line of storms that moved from west to east across the state. An EF-0 is the lowest classification for a tornado, with winds less than 85 miles per hour. No injuries were reported and the tornado was on the ground for less than half a mile.
