It’s the first Friday of the month, which means it’s time for another First Friday event in Downtown Port Huron. This month’s theme is the “Dog Days of Summer” and is all about our four legged friends. Cynthia Cutright of the Port Huron Downtown Development Authority says many stores will allow you to bring your dogs inside.
“People can bring their furry friends downtown… many of our downtown businesses will welcome you inside,” said Cutright. “We will have signs at each business door to let you know if they are dog friendly or not.”
Polka Dot Pandas and A Little Something will be playing host to service dogs tonight. Cutright also says dog treat vendors will be set up on the sidewalks and there will be live music at four different locations throughout downtown.Tonight’s “Dog Days of Summer” First Friday runs from 5 to 8pm.
