Gas prices in Michigan decreased a couple pennies compared to last week, according to AAA of Michigan. The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is now $3.11 per gallon. Despite the slight decrease, the Michigan state average is still 91 cents higher than this time last year. AAA says gas prices are likely to grow ahead of the Independence Day holiday weekend. The average price for a gallon of gas in St. Clair County is approximately $3.09 a gallon.
