St. Clair County is taking part in Wednesday’s coordinated Statewide Tornado Drill. At 1pm, outdoor warning sirens across the County will sound for three minutes as part of the test. Officials say tomorrow’s test is a good opportunity for families, schools, and businesses to review and practice their emergency plans for severe weather. The Emergency Alert System will also be activated for tomorrow’s test, with announcements on local television and radio stations. Officials are reminding residents that in an actual severe weather emergency, a steady three-minute siren means to seek shelter immediately and tune in to media outlets for updates
