The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office responding to a deadly shooting Tuesday night in St. Clair Township. It happened just before 7pm at a home in the 5300 block of Gratiot Avenue. Sheriff Mat King tells WPHM his office responded to reports of a gunshot victim and upon arrival, found a 56 year old man deceased. King also says a suspect, described as a 24 year old male also from St. Clair Township, has been taken into custody. King also assured the situation poses no danger to the public. Authorities have not yet released details on what led to the incident or the identity of the suspect or victim.
