Members of the St. Clair County Drug Task Force are celebrating the largest drug bust made in the division’s history. Over 370 of cocaine were seized during a traffic stop of a semi tractor-trailer on Pine Grove Avenue in Port Huron, Tuesday night around 9pm. Law enforcement officials estimate the drugs carry a street value of around $16.5 million. The driver is being held at the St. Clair County Jail, awaiting arraignment. Sheriff Matt King says he’s not surprised to make an arrest of this scale so close to such a popular point of entry into the county. He adds, he’s relieved the drugs are off the streets.
