New report released following Roche Bar incident

An internal review into police actions following the death of Joshua Conant last month outside a Downtown Port Huron bar has been completed. An administrative review team has found that Port Huron Police officers who responded to Roche Bar on the night of November 4th followed policy and made effective use of their training. The administrative review is required by department policy after a critical incident, and concludes that officers met the expectations of the department. All officers who were involved in the incident have been returned to full duty. Conant’s death remains under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
