According to a report released by AAA this morning, the average price per gallon for regular unleaded fell seven cents this week. Putting the state’s average at around $3.40, the lowest we’ve seen in Michigan since spring. The auto club says higher than normal demand for fuel and a tightened supply of domestic reserves still could not offset recent flat oil prices. Right now around the Blue Water Area, we can expect to pay an average of $3.40, the same as the state’s current average, but down eleven cents from this time last week.
