A 59 year old Port Huron woman has died after her motorized wheelchair was struck by a vehicle Saturday. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office says the incident occurred just before 10am Saturday at 24th Avenue and Kraft Roads. A 33 year old Port Huron Woman who was driving southbound 24th Avenue struck the woman on the wheelchair from the west side of the road. The 59 year old woman was pronounced dead on scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed. The St. Clair County Accident Investigation Team says alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors and the incident remains under investigation. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the scene by Tri-Hospital EMS and Fort Gratiot Fire and Rescue crews.
