Get ready to pay more for your electricity. DTE Energy says it’s going to propose a rate increase to fund a $388 million investment that will modernize and improve reliability of the state’s energy grid. If the increase goes through, it would cost the average customer another $10-dollars a month. DTE plans to file a rate request with the Michigan Public Service Commission on Friday.
